Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy (born on 17 October 1992) was born on 17 October 1992, and is an Indian actress. She appears primarily in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. She was awarded the National Film Award in Best Actress category for her work as actress Savitri. In addition, she has received three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy is the child of filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar and actress Menaka G. Suresh. Her professional career started in the early 2000s as a child actor. She returned to film following her study of fashion. Her first lead role in Geethaanjali (2013 Malayalam). She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy began working on projects that were not Malayalam in the year 2015. The actress also signed on to star in numerous Tamil films simultaneously. Her debut film was A. A. Vijay's romantic comedic Idhu Enna Maayam (2015), opposite Vikram Prabhu. However, the film didn't do well in the theater. Due to her busy schedule, in 2015 she had no choice but to pull herself out of projects on which she had already begun working, like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye or Deekay's Kavalaivendam. For a short period of time she also worked together with Sivakarthikeyan for Rajini Murugan, Remo and also played the lead on Prabhu Sool's Thodari alongside Dhanush. She made her Telugu debut was planned to be titled Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. Although the release date of Janakitho Nenu is not yet set, reports suggest that it may be in September 2020. The film's debut was Nenu Sailaja in the year 2016 starring actress Ram Pothineni. Keerthy made her debut in Bairavaa (directed by Bharathan) opposite actor Vijay. In addition, she was an Tamil actress in Paambhu Saattai as well as an Telugu actor in Nenu Local.
