Whitney Houston and Dana Bash
Whitney Elizabeth Houston was born into a musical family on August 9th, 1963, in Newark New Jersey the daughter of gospel superstar Cissy Houston (nee Emily Lee Drinkard) and John Russell Houston Jr. and cousin of singing star Dionne Warwick. Whitney's mother and her began singing professionally in the church of New Hope Baptist in Newark when Whitney was only 15 years old. They sang the backing vocals on Chaka Khan's track in 1978 Im Every Woman. Jermaine, her mother and Lou Rawls were some of those who she sang with. She was also briefly a model for Seventeen magazine in the year 1981. The singer began her career as a vocalist in the band Material. the band from New York called Material and it was the quality of her vocal work together that brought the attention of the major record labels, including Arista with whom she signed in 1983 and where she would remain for the remainder the duration of her career. Whitney Houston, her debut album released in 1985, was the most-sold album by a debut singer. Songs like The Greatest Love of All, How Will I Know If You Give Love and Saving the Day and All My Love were all released off the album. They enabled Houston to earn seven US top tens that surpassed even those of The Beatles. The album came out in 1987, and it sold over 25 million copies worldwide. The Whitney follow-up in 1987 with the singles Where Do Broken Hearts GO and I Wanna Dance With Somebody helped to build on the success of her first album. However, it was the 1992 film The Bodyguard that solidified her position as one of the world's most well-known performers. Even though the movie and actress' performance were not much praised, her soundtrack album featuring her rendition of Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You was her most popular single and albums for many months. It sold more than 44 million copies around the world. In the same year she welcomed her daughter Bobbi Brown, she got married to Bobby Brown of the ex-New Edition group. In the same year the drug use was well-documented and she started using it daily in 1996.
Dana Bash also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz is an American reporter anchorwoman and political reporter for CNN. In the past, she has created shows for the network, such as Evans & Novak' Late Editionand Inside Politics'. Her awards and accolades include being named to the "The Women in Washington Power List" by Elle magazine. She is highly respected for her amazing abilities as a reporter/an anchor. The only child she has is her greatest joy in life. She has been married twice and is now single. Bash is an independent and strong woman. She loves her fans.
